Privacy

This site is built to know as little about you as possible.

Last updated: August 27, 2026

parallaxprotocol.org is an informational site. It has no user accounts, runs no analytics or advertising, sets no tracking cookies, and never sells or shares visitor data — nothing of the kind is collected in the first place. That is also why there is no cookie banner: nothing on this site requires consent. This page describes the little that does happen when you visit.

What your browser stores

The site sets a single cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, to remember your language so pages load in the right one. It also uses your browser's local storage for small interface preferences — for example, remembering that you already dismissed the wallet-network prompt. Neither identifies you nor tracks you across sites, and you can clear both in your browser settings at any time.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served through Cloudflare's content delivery network. Like any web server, it transiently processes standard technical data — your IP address, the requested URL, and browser headers — to deliver pages and defend against abuse. No analytics run on top of this data.

External content

Market data is fetched by our servers, so your browser never contacts CoinGecko. Live network statistics load from our own block explorer at explorer.parallaxprotocol.org.

Embedded YouTube videos are click-to-play: until you press play, only a static thumbnail image is loaded from Google's servers. Pressing play loads the video in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, at which point Google's privacy policy applies.
